Koch Chemie M3

Koch Chemie M3.02 Micro Cut Compound is the latest generation machine micro-polish for the permanent removal of streaks, holograms, fine scratches, and sanding marks to P3000 grain size on all paint systems (including scratch-resistant). Through the use of highly specialised, extremely homogenous abrasive bodies, a brilliant permanent high gloss finish is created under extreme light conditions, even on dark and similarly sensitive shades. Holograms and fine scratches are eliminated mechanically and not, covered over, which is often the case. Micro Cut M3.02 is extremely economical, easy to polish, and removable without leaving traces.

Koch Chemie M3 is perfectly suited for use with the Koch Chemie Micro Cut Pads.

How To Use Koch Chemie M3

  1. Ensure the car is clean, dry, and decontaminated
  2. If necessary, use a heavier compound first for deeper defects, such as Koch Chemie H9 or Koch Chemie F6.
  3. Prime the pad with an X of M3 and spread evenly across the face of the pad with your finger.
  4. Apply 3-4 pea-sized blobs on the polishing pad, dab on the surface of the paintwork several times, and start the machine on a low speed.
  5. Work on an area no bigger than 2ft x 2ft and slowly increase to a medium speed.
  6. Work in a crosshatch pattern and keep polishing until a clear film is produced.
  7. Repeat from step 4 until the whole vehicle is complete.  Taking time to inspect the paintwork and periodically cleaning the pad out with a pad cleaning brush.
  8. Once the whole vehicle is complete, take time to inspect the paintwork and re-polish any areas that need more refinement.

Tips

  • Shake the bottle well before use, do not use on hot surfaces, and protect the bottle from frost and extreme heat.
  • When inspecting the paintwork, we recommend the use of a panel prep spray such as Gyeon Prep or CarPro Eraser. Panel preps ensure the polishing oils are removed, as these oils can hide holograms and fine scratches.
  • Cleaning the pad out during use with a pad brush helps to reduce dusting, makes cleaning out easier, and prolongs the life of the pad.
  • As Koch Chemie M3 is a self-lubricating polish, we don't recommend the use of a dedicated pad primer.
