Koch Chemie H9 Heavy Cut Compound

Koch Chemie H9.02 is an innovative polishing compound designed for the fast reworking of heavily weathered paintwork, removing deep scratches, defects, and sanding marks of up to 1200 grit. H9.02 is capable of providing high levels of cut, whilst also leaving behind an excellent gloss, all whilst being able to be worked for prolonged periods of time and with low dust formation.

How To Use Koch Chemie H9

1. Ensure paintwork is clean, dry, and decontaminated.
2. Prime the pad with H9.02 by applying an X of compound on the pad and spreading evenly with your finger.
3. Put 3-4 pea-sized blobs of H9 on the polishing pad and work on an area no bigger than 2ft x 2ft.
4. Work the polish on a medium speed in a crosshatch pattern.
5. Wipe the surface clean with a microfibre towel and inspect.
6. Repeat the process over the whole vehicle from step 3, periodically cleaning the pad with a pad cleaning brush.
7. Once complete, inspect again. For maximum gloss levels, finish the vehicle with Koch Chemie M3.02 Micro Cut.

Tips

• Shake the bottle well before use, do not use on a hot surface, and protect the bottle from frost or extreme heat.
• When inspecting the paintwork, we recommend using a panel prep spray such as Gyeon Prep or CarPro Eraser to ensure all polishing oils are removed. Polishing oils can sometimes mask and hide holograms and fine defects that may require further polishing.
• Cleaning the pad out periodically with the pad cleaning brush will help reduce dusting, make cleaning the pad out easier, and prolong the life of the pad.
• Koch Chemie H9 is a self-lubricated polishing compound, and this is why we reccomend to use it to prime the polishing pad. We've found that using dedicated pad primers with self-lubricated compounds can have an adverse effect and dry the compounds out quicker.
