CarPro Cquartz Lite Kit - 150ml

CarPro Cquartz Lite is a user-friendly ceramic coating that is very easy to apply, designed for those new to ceramic that aren't quite ready to take the leap to professional-level coatings. Don't let this fool you however, Cquartz Lite is based on the incredible Cquartz UK coating but the trade-off for ease of use is a drop in durability to 6 months.

Cquartz Lite can be used as a stand-alone coating or as a topper to existing Cquartz coatings. Lite bridges the gap between traditional sealants that are less effective and the advanced nanotechnology of Cquartz ceramic coatings.

Cquartz Lite can be applied in temperatures ranging from 3 - 40 degrees and retains that classic Cquartz UK wipe-on, wipe-off application, so it can be buffed immediately or left for a few minutes while still buffing off super clean and with ease, leaving the surface slick and not grabby or sticky.

Our Thoughts

Anything that provides a stepping stone to true ceramics is a winner in our eyes. A lot of products brandish the "CERAMIC" tagline now, and as good as they are, they aren't quite the same as a ceramic coating. Ceramic coatings offer a very hard layer on the surface helping to resist washing and drying marks, water spotting, chemical etching, and much more.

The problem is this level of protection usually requires a lot of nerve, a detailing studio, specific temperatures, and much more. Whilst this is still the case with Cquartz Lite for best results, it's not as fussy and is a lot more approachable to the masses, which in turn will help build your confidence for trying your hand with other coatings in the future.

How To Use CarPro Cquartz Lite

It is recommended to use a mask and gloves whilst applying. Work in a well-ventilated area. Test on an inconspicuous area first. Keep away from fire. Keep away from children.

1. Make sure the vehicle is clean and fully decontaminated. Use CarPro IronX, CarPro TarX, and a clay bar to ensure all contamination is removed.
2. Once clean and dry, inspect the paintwork to see if it requires polishing. Once this is done wipe the surface down with CarPro Eraser to ensure all greases and oils are removed, this will ensure Cquartz Lite will bond properly.
3. Apply 10-12 drops to a microfibre applicator. Apply to the surface evenly on small areas roughly 24x24".
4. Using a clean microfibre towel, remove any excess. Cquartz Lite does not need to be left to cure, so buff off immediately. Using a diffused light source, check to ensure all high spots are removed.
5. If a period of time has passed and high spots have been missed, apply more Cquartz Lite to that area and buff off immediately.
6. Leave for 4 hours prior to getting wet. Any water drops during the first 48 hours should be removed before drying to prevent water spotting.

CarPro Reload can be used 1 hour after application to provide temporary protection from water spotting in the initial 48 hours.
