How To Use Clean. Spray Coating

  1. Wash the vehicle in the usual way and dry.
  2. Ensure the paintwork is decontaminated and polished if required.
  3. To ensure maximum durability, cleanse the surface with a panel prep, such as Clean. Panel Prep Spray.
  4. Spray a liberal amount of Spray Coating onto a short-pile microfibre towel, such as the Clean. Level One or a microfibre applicator.
  5. Spread evenly across the surface using a cross-hatch pattern. Allow 1-2 minutes for the coating to self-level and then gently wipe the surface with a second, clean towel.
  6. Continue steps 4 and 5 until the whole vehicle is coated.

Tips

  • Clean. Spray Coating can be layered. If this is something you want to do, we recommend applying the second layer within 1 hour of the initial application.
  • Do not allow the vehicle to be exposed to water for at least 1 hour. This is to prevent waterspots or mineral deposits from etching into the coating.
  • Clean. Spray Coating can be used as a sacrificial layer when applying the Clean 3 or 8 year ceramic coating, to prevent damage to the ceramic whilst it is curing. If you do this, allow 12 hours after applying the base ceramic before applying the Spray Coating.
