Auto Foam is Bilt Hamber's answer to Snow Foam. Auto Foam comes as a result of extensive in-house research and development by Bilt Hamber. Auto Foam is a new generation water-based, high-foaming pre-wash treatment designed to soak and saturate soiled paintwork before washing.

This gentle snow foam is designed to work with a Snow Foam Lance and produce a foam that will dwell for several minutes. Auto Foam is formulated to offer maximum wetting and rinses incredibly easily. This snow foam is not designed to be a superficial high foam product, it is designed to be functional and effective.

Bilt Hamber Auto Foam is made with biodegradable compounds and is extremely tough on dirt and grime whilst remaining harmless to the paintwork. It features a non-caustic formulation that ensures that even regular use will not attack paint binders. The hard-working surfactants will attack and penetrate the toughest of grime and dirt, without the need for manual intervention.

How To Use Bilt Hamber Auto Foam

1. Dilute Auto Foam as required in your snow foam lance. For a virtually touchless clean, a 4% Panel Impact Ratio (PIR) is required.
2. Apply the foam onto the vehicle and allow it to dwell for several minutes. Pay close attention and ensure the foam doesn't dry on.
3. Rinse the vehicle thoroughly, ensuring all foam is removed.
4. Proceed to wash the vehicle in the usual way.

Tips

• Do not allow Auto Foam to dry on the vehicle. For best results, ensure the car is cool and not in direct sunlight.
• Do not expect super-thick foam from Auto Foam, just phenomenal cleaning power.
• Working out the panel impact ratio does sound a little over the top at first, but it is the most accurate way of correctly working on the dilution ratio you need for your specific pressure washer setup.
• To work out the panel impact ratio, fill your snow foam lance with water, turn the pressure washer on, and spray into a large bucket until the contents of the foam lance are depleted. Measure the total amount of water in the bucket and multiply by 0.04 for a 4% PIR. This is the amount of Auto Foam you need to dilute into your snow foam lance.
