Auto Finesse Rejuvenate Pre-Wax Cleanser

Auto Finesse Rejuvenate is a glaze based abrasive paintwork cleanser, designed specifically to enhance the beauty and performance of our signature waxes. While both waxes and sealants share the common purpose of protecting and beautifying paintwork, each goes about it in a slightly different way. Waxes are fairly forgiving of what they are applied over, and can work hand in hand with glazing oils to create maximum gloss, wetness, and depth. If you are looking to achieve that iconic, liquid Auto-Finesse finish, Rejuvenate is the perfect place to start.

Rejuvenate contains deep cleansing solvents, glazing oils and fine diminishing abrasives. These remove stubborn contaminates, oxidation, and light swirling to create the perfect wax-ready finish. Just like its brother Tough Prep, Rejuvenate works very quickly, polishing the paintwork to a high gloss. The main difference is, Rejuvenate leaves behind glazing oils. Its deep, rich, wet finish is perfectly suited to darker finishes, especially bold solid colours like red and black.

Like all Auto Finesse car care products, Rejuvenate is formulated to suit the needs of professional detailers, but can be used with great success by detailing enthusiasts and first time detailers as well. Rejuvenate can be used on its own to correct mild defects, or as the final stage in a multi-step polishing process to enhance gloss and liquidity on deep pigmented colours. Either way you use it, Auto Finesse Rejuvenate is the perfect compliment to your favourite carnauba wax.

Rejuvenate was designed for use with Auto Finesse’s Carnauba Waxes, in order to create a striking concours-level finish for your car or motorcycle. However, it can also be used before applying Tough Coat paint sealant, in order to add more wax-like depth and richness. Rejuvenate can be applied by hand, dual-action, or rotary polisher. If you’re a big fan of waxes, Auto Finesse Rejuvenate will become your new best friend.

How to use Rejuvenate

For hand application, we recommend using either a Microfiber, or Dual Foam applicator pad. Apply a small-coin sized drop of product to the applicator, and work into the paint with light pressure until the residue turns clear. Use small, overlapping circular or linear motions when applying the product. For best results, confine yourself to working a small area at a time (No larger than 18 by 18 square inches, or 45 by 45 square centimeters.). Once the product has been fully worked in, remove the residue immediately using a Microfiber Towel. For maximum polishing performance, use a Microfiber Applicator, or the white side of the Dual Foam applicator pad. For maximum gloss, or when working on very soft paint types, we recommend to use the black side of the Dual Foam applicator pad for ultimate finishing potential.

For application by Dual Action (DA) polisher, we recommend using a light foam finishing or polishing pad. For this, our Supreme Finishing Pad would be ideal. Prime the pad with 2 to 4 pea-sized drops of product, and spread onto a small area of the paint (No larger than 18 by 18 square inches, or 45 by 45 square centimeters.) using the lowest setting on the machine. Afterwards, work the product in using slow, even overlapping passes, light pressure, and a moderate-high speed setting (Circa 4000 to 5000 OPM’s.) until you see the residue starting to turn clear. At this stage back the speed down to its next lowest setting for another 2-3 section pass, and once again to its lowest setting for the final finishing passes. Just before the residue disappears entirely, remove it immediately using a Microfiber Towel. For maximum gloss and finishing potential, a foam finishing pad is ideal. For maximum polishing performance, or when working on harder paint types, we would recommend a slightly firmer foam polishing pad.

For application by Rotary Polisher, we recommend using a light foam finishing or polishing pad. Afterwards, increase the speed to a maximum of 1200 RPM until you see the residue starting to turn clear. At this stage back the speed down to its next lowest setting for another few section passes, and once again to its lowest setting for the final finishing stage. Just before the residue disappears entirely, remove it immediately using a Microfiber Towel. For maximum gloss and finishing potential, a foam finishing pad is ideal. For maximum polishing performance, or when working on harder paint types, we would recommend a slightly firmer foam polishing pad.
